We use this machine of Arcade1Up to learn more about some arcade classics.

People who read this article don’t need me to tell them that Ms. Pac-Man is the best video game ever. It is one of the pioneers of this medium. Young readers may not realize this, but there was a time in the 80s and 90s when it was almost impossible for people to walk down the commercial block without hitting the Ms. Pac-Man arcade machine. In this spirit, I am very happy to be able to try this arcade cabinet provided by the people who tried Arcade1Up. After taking turns communicating with my family, I can say that this machine is very popular.

When the Arcade1Up box first arrived, I couldn't help but feel a little scared. This is a huge box, weighing more than 80 pounds. It has been said in the previous comments, but if you make this type of investment, then this is not an effort you should make on your own. You need some help to assemble this thing, as well as a lot of work space.

However, the positive thing is that for an arcade cabinet that is almost the same size as the original, this thing is fairly simple to assemble. As long as you have a screwdriver ready, you can start using it. The instructions are clear and provide instructions for amateur builders. The only real trouble is that one person needs to support certain boards while the other person places all the screws and components. If you drop screws or components, don't worry, because there are many extras that are convenient.

The best part is that the display and joystick can basically slide in directly. There is no complicated wiring work here. It is easy to plug some wires together and make sure they come out of the correct side of the cabinet so that they can be inserted into the wall. In general, the assembly process is more time-consuming than anything else, and the assembly takes more than an hour.

This is where I check the full package, but one thing to note about the PAC-MAN lady machine is that any version you get from different retailers may contain different sets of games. To clarify, depending on where you choose this arcade cabinet, you may get Galaxian, PAC-PAL, PAC-MANIA, Super PAC-MAN, Dig Dug or any other seemingly random combination of titles. For example, Walmart features Galaxian, while Sam's Club features PAC-PAL. There are Pac-Man, Digger, Super Pac-Man and Pac-Man in my machine, playing like a dream.

The 17" LCD display brings these arcade games to life and makes them look crystal clear. The joystick clicks a bit and it takes a while to get used to, but the input response is sensitive without any noticeable lag, and the joystick is very sturdy and feels almost It won't be broken within a week.

As far as presentation is concerned, it is very suitable for standard apartments or garages/sheds. I brought it into my brother’s man’s den. I was worried that there would not be enough space to put it around the sofa, bar, pool table, washing machine and dryer. Not only is it easy to find a place for it, but once the cabinet is assembled, it is much easier to move it. Two people can easily drag it around, which is much easier than the cardboard box it was originally placed in. No matter where it goes, it will bring personality to its space, thanks to the luminous tent.

It should be easy to find Arcade1Up Ms. PAC-MAN cabinets because they have been used in the field for several years. However, those looking for something different (and some additional) may want to look for a Class of '81 cabinet that supports Wi-Fi, which has 12 titles. It is expected to ship in the next few weeks.

This review is based on the cabinet provided by the company. Arcade1up cabinets are now available online and at retailers, starting at $399.99.

Ozzie has been playing video games since he picked up his first NES controller at the age of 5. He has been playing games since then, only to leave briefly during college. But he was pulled back after spending many years in THQ and Activision's QA circle, mainly to spend time helping to push the Guitar Hero series to the top. Ozzie has become a big fan of platform games, puzzle games, shooting games and RPG games, to name a few, but he also likes any game with a fascinating and exciting story behind it. Because if you can't enjoy a good story with fresh cherry cola, what is a video game?

Would love this in my basement

Do you make this without pants?

I hope you play "Super Pac-Man" long enough to understand and enjoy it. This is my favorite Pac-Man game, even though it is Super Mario 2 in Pac-Man. :) I have a Ms. Pac-man cabinet and I am a bit depressed. I can't get a conversion kit. It is not one of those terrible 60-in-1 boards. It can be replaced between Ms. Pac and Super Pac.
